Gratitude
We all hear it! particularly in the coaching circles and social media but why is it good for us to be grateful?
Well it's that feeling you get when you take time out for a moment to gather up your thoughts and really think and reflect on the why you're grateful. We are such busy beings that we don't allow our bothering's or stresses slide sometimes, we can harbour them and take them out on others particularly those close to us, so reminding yourself that you're grateful for those around you helps build on the close relationships you have and also makes you self aware of when you are not being grateful towards others
It allows you to open up and be vulnerable, to tell those close friends or family that they are special and why, give someone a hug and tell them you care for them and why
Be grateful for your surroundings and belongings and ask yourself why, you may have had to sacrifice a great deal for those belongings, maybe the home you live in or the car you drive, or maybe you realise some of those things are no longer relevant. It's a grounding experience and you will learn so much about yourself and others if you take a moment to be grateful
It's a super power, it builds you up and others around you
Someone washed the dishes up knowing you had a really long day is a nice touch,!
If you let them know you're grateful maybe they will do it again :)
It really is the simple things in life
I am grateful for ....
