Learning Techniques

I was asked whether watching YouTube videos to reading was a good idea. So I asked, did you learn anything from YouTube? and he said yes. I then asked what did you learn?  he said I can concentrate more when I am watching YouTube, I seem to take it all in. 

Now, despite the fact my question " What did you learn" was about the content I actually got the answer of how he absorbs information and the methods of his learning capabilities.

I too prefer to visually learn or be hands on in a practical way, if you can figure out what methods of learning you prefer and really think about them and recount times you have learned things in your past such as workplaces or high school lessons then it will allow you to disregard anything you cannot focus on, this should help open up new ways of absorbing new information and enjoying the process along the way
